I opened Carebears Childrens Nursery Ltd in January 2014 after gaining 5 years’ experience in the early year’s sector. Previous to this, I had 20 years’ experience in the financial industry, undertaking many managerial positions. As a mother of 3 who used private nurseries, my goal was always to open a nursery and provide a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and develop through play.

Nursery Manager

I have worked in the early year's sector from 2003. I gained my SVQ level 3 in 2005. Since then I have continually been developing my learning and knowledge. I graduated from Glasgow University after studying BA Childhood Practice in 2019. I joined the Carebears Childrens Nursery Ltd team as the tweenie room senior in January 2015 and currently I am enjoying the manager's role.

Fiona Mcleary

Deputy Manager

I have been working in the early years sector from 2006. I gained my SVQ Level 3 in 2007. Since then, I have continually been developing my learning and knowledge. In 2018 I gained my BA Childhood Practice. I joined Carebears Children's Nursery in 2014 as pre-school room senior. I have supported many rooms within the company and I have progressed onto Deputy Manager. I am enjoying the deputy manager's role.

Holly Walker

Little Bears room senior

I joined the team in October 2020 as an apprentice and worked my way up the career ladder after gaining my SQV 3 Child's Learning and Development. I am now enjoying my role as Little Bear room senior.

Adventure Bears room senior

I joined the Carebears team in June 2021as an early year’s practitioner. I have now progressed onto Adventure Bear room senior in 2022. I have 4 years’ experience in the early education sector and gained my SVQ Level 3 in 2021. I am currently working towards my BA Childhood practice. I am enjoying my new role of Adventure Bear room senior.

Explorer Bears room senior

I joined the team in September 2020 as a trainee early years practitioner and worked my way up the career ladder after gaining my SQV 3 Child's Learning and Development. I have 3 years’ experience in the childcare sector. I am now enjoying my role as Explorer Bear room senior.
